Do you like contemporary art? How about impressionist paintings? What about nude sculptures? Well if you answered yes to any of these questions than you are probably going to like this next story. Most of us have probably been to a museum once or twice in our lifetimes. And depending on the person, it is usually a pretty cool experience. It is amazing how creative human beings can be with just a piece of charcoal or some watercolors or some clay. It really makes you appreciate things. We all of course appreciate art in our own way. Some people stare for hours and try to find the hidden, emotional meeting in a piece of art, and others quickly walk by and admire the colors.
Well one woman in Denver Colorado, had a different approach. She walked up to a $30 Million Clyfford Still painting and after admiring it, decided to pull her pants down and rub her naked buttock against it. Yep, apparently she didn’t find the painting very moving. And then to top things off, she then urinated on the floor of the museum. Maybe it was performance art or just plain crazy, but the museum nor the artist appreciated the actions of the woman. She was arrested and charged with felony criminal mischief. She ultimately received 2 years probation and no jail time. See the original story below.
