Finding a crime story in today’s news is not difficult. It is pretty easy to just type the word “crime” into Google and see the thousands of crime stories that have been reported in just the last 24 hours. Trust us when we say that it is a little overwhelming. We do this search every morning looking for stories that are the most interesting and of course funny (we hope). Occasionally, in all the bad stories about crime we are able to find a good story or a shining light about someone doing the right thing. Today’s bail bond blog post is exactly that…a good guy coming to the rescue.
Earlier this week in Nashville, Tennessee a coach who had just left practice pulled into a local shopping center parking lot. According to authorities, the coach arrived just in time to witness two men stealing a woman’s purse. This is where the story gets interesting. The man was not your ordinary sports coach. He was a fencing coach. You know, the guys that look like bee keepers and fight like pirates. Anyway, this heroic, single Musketeer, jumped into action and grabbed his foil (for us less sophisticated sports fans, that is his sword) and chased down the crooks screaming. The two purse snatchers were so freaked out by this crazy man with a fencing sword coming at them that they just dropped the purse and ran. They were quickly apprehended by police minutes later. When asked later by the media why he did what he did, the man simply replied, “All for one and one for all.” Read the original story below.
