Stealing someone else’s identity and then stealing their money is a terrible crime.  When the identities you are stealing are your parents, well that is just downright despicable and that is the topic of today’s bail bond blog post.

Everyone has heard the phrase, “Beauty is only skin deep.”  While this is a pretty easy to understand concept for most of us, it wasn’t for one woman in Pennsylvania.  To her, the measure of beauty wasn’t skin deep, but rather it was in how many plastic surgeries she could undertake.  According to NBC10 a 36 year old Cranberry, Pennsylvania woman, spent $729,000 on cosmetic procedures to improve herself.  And that isn’t even the worst part of this story.  The woman was able to fund the surgeries by using student loans….loans that were obtained through her parents.  The only problem is that her parents had no idea what was happening.  The woman had apparently stolen the identities of both her parents and was able to get several student loans totaling over $700,000.  Yikes.

Justice ultimately prevailed and the woman is now serving time for her ugly crime.  She will be spending the next 15 months in federal prison and will have to repay $633,000.  We aren’t sure how the woman plans on paying back the money, but we do know that she probably won’t be asking her parents for help.  Read the original story below.
