Okay people, time to pull them up. And this time it isn’t because we are all sick of seeing your disgusting underwear (and trust me when I say that we are tired of it), but rather because in one county in Florida, it is now against the law. Yes, someone finally came to their senses and decided to draw a line between what some people see as fashion and what most of us see as inappropriate sloppiness. So today’s bail bond blog post is about how you might need to get a bail bond for wearing your pants too low.
This past week in Ocala, Florida, the City Council voted 4-0 to make it a crime to wear your pants two inches below your natural waist in a way that exposes your underwear of bare buttocks. The punishment a $500 fine and possible jail time. Now normally, I would probably lean on the side of government not being able to tell you how to live your life especially what to wear, but in this case, I am pretty tired of seeing young people wearing their pants so low that we all get to see their not so pretty underwear. So, well done Ocala, you have made one small step for decency and one giant leap for the belt industry. Read the original story below.
