Have you ever been convicted of a crime? It is a question that we all have had to answer at one point in our life. If you are sitting there thinking to yourself, I have never had to answer that question, than think back to your first job as a teenager and the job application you filled out. Believe it or not, somewhere on that application was the question, have you ever been convicted of a felony? For the jobseeker, is it unfair that you will never be able to erase one mistake you may have made in your life? These are two very challenging questions? What do you think? Should employers be able to ask the question before hiring someone…or should job seekers have the right to not share that information during the application process. Tell us what you think.
