Today’s VERA Truth video is eighth video in the recent ongoing series out of New Orleans, Louisiana. This video takes a more detailed look at the VERA “Risk Assessment” tool and its many failures. The video starts off with an interview with a former Pretrial Services Agent where she reveals the truth about pretrial’s so called “supervision.” Apparently when somone is out on a pretrial services bond and they don’t show up for court, no one goes after them and no one is held accountable.
