Just when this burglar thought he was home free, the tables turned… and quickly!
Noah Jess Dassat, 33, thought he was going to break into a home and get his hands on all kinds of goodies. Instead, he ended up with head injuries from the bat he tried to rob the house with!
He broke into a home where a family with three children were sleeping. The husband went to check on the noises he heard but was attacked by Dassat. Fortunately, the wife stepped up and became the hero of the day!
She managed to grab the baseball bat that Dassat had brought with him for a weapon and attacked the intruder. Talk about fearless! Dassat managed to get away, but was quickly caught by the police after using a fake name at a hospital, where he ended up because of injuries the wife had given him.
The police arrested him and he has been charged with four felonies, along with one misdemeanor for armed burglary, battery and criminal mischief. He is currently in jail and being held without bond.
