You just never know who may hold you hostage these days! In the case of this couple from Wisconsin, it was their own cat! You just have to read the 911 call exchange to believe it.

Caller: “Hi. This is going to sound like a strange question, but we have a cat and it’s going crazy. It’s attacked my husband and we’re kind of hostage in our house. And we’re just wondering who we can call to do something, get rid of the cat or help us.”

Dispatch: “This is a cat?”
Caller: “Yes.”
Dispatch: “So it’s your own pet?”
Caller: “Yes.”

Evidently, the cat attacked the husband’s hand and the wife put it in a room to calm down. That didn’t seem to work, though, because after they let him out, the same thing happened all over again.

Thankfully, the cops were able to corral this crazy 2-year-old kitty and ended up turning it over to animal control, where it is currently being held in quarantine.
