Do you consider yourself a strict parent?  Do you rule your child’s life with an iron fist? Are you the kind of parent that might let their kid sit in jail without posting a bail bond to teach them a lesson?  Or maybe you consider yourself a “cool” parent…you know, one of those parent who is cool enough to hang out with your kid’s friends and just chill.  Well just to clarify things, there is no such thing as a “cool” parent, at least not in the eyes of your kids.  Second, parents shouldn’t be chilling with their kid’s friends…it’s just not right.  Anyway, back to the point.  Whether you are a strict parent or a “cool” parent, if you are like me, you are always trying to do what’s best for your kid.  Well sometimes, if you are not careful, doing what you think is the right thing could backfire.  Check out this recent story about a man in Port St. Lucie, Florida who called 911 to report some vandalism.
