Just when you thought life couldn’t imitate art any more than it does, this next bail bond blog comes along.    Once again, two people helped law enforcement out by posting a selfie of them doing something that they shouldn’t have been doing…and of course, they are both now spending time in jail.

In Missouri last week, two people acted out a scene from the late 1980’s movie “Weekend at Bernie’s”  when one of their friends died of an overdose.   Now don’t get us wrong, they didn’t parade the body around at a beach party or anything like that, but they did do something that ultimately got them arrested and thrown in jail…they did what any young person would do if faced with the challenge of sitting in a car with someone who just overdosed…they took a selfie.  Yes, before dumping the body along a dirt road, they decided to memorialize the moment with a selfie.  Even worse, they decided to share the selfie on social media.  As you can imagine, it didn’t take the police too long to crack this case.  Both people are being charged with the abandonment of a corpse.  Read the original story below.
