A man in Minnesota was recently arrested after he tried to shoot a ‘zombie’, but it was actually a man who was sleeping soundly in his home.

Ryan Stanislaw, 24, was walking in a neighborhood with a rifle slung around his neck (what?!) hunting for zombies. After he was arrested, he told the police “I’m out here making sure my neighborhood is safe. I didn’t see the cops, so I figured I’d do something.” Sounds logical enough… or just crazy.

And do something, he did! He claimed to shoot at someone walking up the road that he thought was a zombie. Unfortunately, his bullets ended up going through a home where the homeowner was fast asleep. The homeowner was suddenly woken up to the sound of a gunshot and heard glass breaking in his room. How terrifying!

Turns out this isn’t Stanislaw’s first rodeo. He was convicted in September of terroristic threats and was ordered to not own or possess firearms.
