How many shoes do you have at home?  5-6 pairs? If you are like most men, you probably have a few pairs that cover the essentials… maybe a couple pairs of sneakers and a couple pairs of dress shoes.  Then there are those people (like my wife…hopefully she isn’t reading this) that have a weird thing for shoes and just can’t get enough of them.  Even over 100 pair of shoes would not be enough.  Well, there is a man in New Jersey, who really must love shoes a lot, because he just got caught robbing a Stride Right store in New Jersey after he was caught robbing the same store 15 years ago.  Talk about a shoe fetish.

According to authorities, fifteen years ago, back in 1999, a young man robbed a Stride Rite shoe store.  He tied up the employees in the back and took off with the cash.  He eventually was caught and ended up doing 15 years in jail.  So now we come to back present time.  This past week, the man was finally released from jail for his crime.  So what did he do?  He got on a bus from Atlantic City to New Jersey…went to the same store…and tried to rob it again.  This time the employees were not as accommodating, refusing to be tied up in the stockroom.  The man took $400 and some cell phones.  He was caught nearby and rearrested.  His bail bond was set at $100,000.  We aren’t sure why he has it out for this particular store, but what we do know is that those employees better put the date March 2029 in their calendars, because in 15 more years, he will probably be back.
