As a parent, you know that it is only a matter of time before you children grow up and don’t see you as the super human that they always have.  Unfortunately when kids get to their teenage years, being around mom and dad isn’t as cool as it used to be but rather downright embarrassing for them.  This has been the cause of most parents doing silly and often stupid things to win the crown of the “coolest” parent on the block.

This strategy backfired for a West Milton, Ohio mom, who was trying so hard to be the “cool” parent of her 6 children that she over step her boundaries a bit and broke the law in the process.  She decided that her path to “coolest” parent in the neighborhood should involve a party…a party with alcohol, marijuana and sex.  Unfortunately for her, the party was with a bunch of 13 year olds.  The big surprise in the case this week was when the judge ordered the “cool” mother of six to serve 30 days in jail to begin immediately.  So much for being the cool mom…hopefully she will learn from her time behind bars and won’t use it as another step down on her misguided path of “cool.”  Read the original story below.
