Apparently, this bank robber thought that the second time would be the charm! After getting released from prison, he decided it would be a great idea to attempt to rob the same bank in New Jersey that got him trouble 5 years earlier!

Keith Ney, 54, was still on supervised release when he decided to enter the Cape Bank in Atlantic City and rob the tellers by saying he had a gun. He was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash, but was quickly apprehended.

After he left, a bank employee spotted a police officer outside and ran to tell them what happened. Ney was found right away and immediately taken into custody.

That was when it was discovered that it was the same bank he just got out of prison for robbing 5 years earlier! Some people never learn!

He now faces up to 20 years in prison and could also face two additional years for violating his supervised release. Not smart! But as you may know by now, not many criminals are.
