Things got tense in Montana when an 18-year-old threatened to shoot someone for revealing a spoiler for the new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” movie! You just can’t mess with ruining the movie for all of the hardcore fans who haven’t had a chance to see it yet!
And just like most arrests these days… it all happened on social media! Now there is hardcore evidence making it easy to charge Arthur Charles Roy, 18, with assault with a weapon, a felony offense. He became “angry” when a Facebook friend of his revealed a subplot of the movie. So angry that he posted pics of himself holding a gun, saying he was going to find and get him! Over a Star Wars movie? Yikes!
The Facebook friend was worried enough that he called the cops and reported what had happened. He was worried that Roy might show up at his house or to his school the next day. Specifically because Roy made a direct threat that he would come to the school and shoot him during lunchtime.
Those threats caused the school to force a lockdown the next day until Roy was found and arrested. He was jailed and bail was set at $10,000, which he posted and was subsequently released.
The best part? Roy’s mom asked authorities what all the hubbub was about since it was only a BB gun. We’ll see what happens in court! Hopefully he’s at least seen the movie by now so he doesn’t get himself into any additional trouble.
