Statistics and facts don’t lie…especially when it comes to the criminal justice system.  That is why the bail bond industry continues to deliver on its promise to the court and to the public.  And that promise is if you get released pretrial on a financially secured bail bond, then you are going to go to court.  Now the public sector pretrial community says that they supervise and monitor defendants that they release through their taxpayer funded programs, but the reality is that their idea of supervision ends at 5:00 when the pretrial employee clocks out and goes home for the day.  Meanwhile, the bail bond agent works 24/7 to ensure that those out on his watch are doing what they are supposed to be doing.  And if they don’t show up, the bail bond agent goes and gets them.  Just ask a public sector pretrial employee how many defendants they have gone and apprehended when they didn’t show up for court.  The answer will be 0.
