Roger Adair has always enjoyed helping people. In fact, from a very young age, he knew that it was his calling and he was put here to make a difference. As soon as he could, Roger joined the Navy and became a firefighter during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Unfortunately, he had a serious knee injury and was forced to return home. He had always imagined himself coming home and continuing on as a firefighter, but now as a disabled vet, he wasn’t physically able to. He was unsure what he was going to do.

His brother-in-law owned a bail bond company and offered him a job. Roger ran that bail office for fifteen years before he ventured out and decided to start his own bail bond business, Roger Adair Bail Bonds. He never could have expected that being a bail bond agent would be so fulfilling, but after 19 years of being in the bail business, he couldn’t imagine it any other way.

Roger is still following his dream to help people, but from a much different perspective than he had originally planned. In addition to being a bail agent, he is a volunteer for Nor Cal Clean and Sober, a program that helps those who have substance addiction programs. He makes himself available to those who have stumbled and are looking to get back on their feet. He prides himself as a “pseudo counselor” to those who have lost their way. His wife and daughters have even nicknamed him “Dr. Phil”. He shares his experiences, lends a hand and tells these people that whenever they are having doubts to call him on his cell phone, no matter what time it is. “There’s nothing better than helping someone who wants to help themselves. If they fall off the wagon, my goal is to get them back on their feet and get their 30 day chip back.” says Roger.

Being a bail bond agent isn’t just a job for Roger. Sure, it pays his bills, but that’s not the reason he has become so invested in his career. Raising his children in a bail bond family has taught them values and life lessons they wouldn’t have otherwise known. They understand the consequences of one negative decision and they understand the criminal justice system. On top of that, Roger truly cherishes the relationships that have been built throughout the years. He has made countless friends and has been told by people he’s helped that because of him, they were able to bounce back and succeed in life. That’s why Roger is so committed to a being a bail agent, it is his passion and his legacy… to help make this world a better place one person at a time.
