Imagine the surprise of this 12-year-old girl when she was arrested at school and charged with a misdemeanor battery charge. All for pinching a boy’s butt at school! The girl doesn’t even know what a misdemeanor battery charge is!

The incident happened at a Middle School in Florida when Breana Evans, 12, pinched a boy’s butt, all as a joke, based on a game kids at the school play.

The boy didn’t seem to think it was too funny, though, and told a school resource deputy. But when things quickly escalated with the police, he said he didn’t want to press charges and didn’t want to see the girl suspended. They didn’t even really know each other.

“I regret it because I didn’t know it would lead to this,” Evans said. “I feel like it’s just a stupid charge that shouldn’t have to happen.”

That being said, the boy’s mother wasn’t going to let this go and called the cops saying that she wanted to move forward with prosecuting Evans for battery. Don’t mess with a Mom’s little boy!

Evan’s father said he thinks the mom of the boy is overreacting and she “needs some help for being so overprotective. Let your kid be a kid and he might get some friends.” Sounds like it’s getting ugly, and it’s all between the parents. Poor kids!

Evans was booked into juvenile detention and if she complets a diversion program and does community services, the charge will be dismissed and her record will be clean.
I bet nobody at that middle school will be playing that game again!
