hitchhiking kidBeing a parent in today’s world can be pretty tough, especially when it comes to disciplining your child.  Back in the day, parents seem to have a little more leeway in how they decide to discipline their children, but today, it seems like parents are continuously under the watchful eyes of others to make sure they don’t cross the line.  That is the topic of today’s bail bond blog post.

Earlier this week, a Houston, Texas woman was arrested for punishing her 10 year old son.  Just to be clear, it wasn’t “that” she punished him, but rather “how” she punished him that truly bothered authorities.  According to reports, the woman was driving along at night and was fighting with her 10 year old son in the car.  She got so frustrated with him that she decided to pull over and make him walk home.  In addition to be a pretty extreme punishment for a 10 year old, it was made even worse for the fact that it was 8:30 at night and they were on the I-45 highway at the time.  The boy walked along the shoulder before he was picked up by law enforcement.

The mom is being help in the Galveston County Jail on a $7,500 bail bond.  Read the original story below.
