But this movie doesn’t take place in a small religious town in Utah with a misguided preacher (played brilliantly by John Lithgow), but rather in the big vibrant, modern city of Tokyo. According to the article, there is a new law that puts serious restrictions on night clubs and discos. These new laws are leading to raids at local establishments and fines to owners for “allowing unlicensed dancing.” Seriously? Jail time and a bail bond for shaking your money maker?
