It is hard to understand why people do what they do. When someone goes on a rant and runs through the neighborhood terrorizing the community, it is hard to wonder what the person was thinking at the time. Add to that, the person running through the neighborhood being completely naked (except of course for a comfortable pair of boots), and you have one funky story…and a great new blog post for the team at ExpertBail.
So here is the situation. A Tarpon Springs man was seen going for a jog through the local golf course. He must have been working on his aerodynamics, because he was seen jogging in nothing but his birthday suit (once again, except for the comfortable boots). He then jumped into his van (why is it always a van) and drove around Pasco County with his lights off. He eventually stopped at a 7-Eleven for, what we can only assume he would stop for, a Slurpee and a Slim Jim (what most naked runners enjoy). While at the 7-Eleven (still naked of course) the man attacked an employee. We aren’t sure if he had a weapon, but what we do know that if he did, it was concealed (remember, he is still naked).
After leaving the 7-Eleven, he continued to roam the streets, lightless, in his van until he eventually (and it always seems to happen this way) ran the van into a patrol car. This is where the naked fun ended and the naked nightmare began. The man was booked into the Pasco County jail and immediately given some clothes. We aren’t sure if a bail bond was set, but any release will more likely than not, require that the defendant remain fully clothed while out of jail…just saying. Read the original story below.
