There is nothing better around the Holidays than sitting down with your family and playing a light hearted board game.  Whether it is Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit or the game Life, these fun filled moments can bring families together.  However, today’s bail bond blog post is about a family that didn’t end up closer together, but rather separated and in jail.

This past weekend a father ended up needing a bail bond in LaPorte County, Indiana when a family board game got a little too serious.  According to reports, the man and his family sat down to a friendly game of “LIFE” along with some cocktails.  Apparently the man landed on a space that said that he just got married and had children.  Whether it was the alcohol or just a bad sense of humor, the man decided to make a comment about already being married that his wife didn’t appreciate.  One thing led to another and people were screaming, cops were called and certain fathers were arrested and thrown in jail.  Now there are many lessons we can learn from this story.  Maybe the lesson is that mixing alcohol and board games is not the best idea…or maybe just drinking around the Holidays in general should be avoided.  Whatever the lesson is, we know one thing for certain…you should never take LIFE too seriously or you might end up in jail.
