While most of us will never have to face this question (knock on wood), for some it is a harsh reality and a question that can determine the path of the rest of your life. But if you did have to make that choice, what would you choose? Jail? Probation? Most people end up choosing probation and a fine, but according to an article in the Opinion section of the Times-Herald this morning, that might not be the best choice.
