Hollywood loves to glorify the big bank robbery. In fact, there have been many movies made about gangs of handsome thieves pulling off the big robbery no one expected. From Ocean’s 11 to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, bank robbers are always portrayed in a way that makes them look pretty good. But we all know that the reality of robbing someone is not that glamorous…just pick up a copy of your local mug shot magazine and you can quickly see the real cast of characters that pursue a life of crime.
That being said, not all crimes involve high stakes. Just two days ago we wrote about a story that involved a guy robbing a bank for one dollar. Well today’s story is just as bad. A Waco, Texas man robbed another man at knifepoint. His big take from the caper….a whopping $3. Blame it on the poor economy or just a poor choice in choosing a victim by the thief, either way you have to chalk this robbery up as poor return on crime for the bandit. The man is currently being held without a bail bond. Read the original story below.
