Have you ever had a bad hair day?  Or maybe had one of those days where you looked in the mirror and couldn’t believe what you saw?  If you are like most people, you have had those moments of not being very happy with your appearance.  And don’t even get us started on photographs.  How many of us are happy with our yearbook photos?  Or even the photos a coworker took at last year’s Christmas party?  Unfortunately, photographs are photographs and they are designed to capture a unique moment in time…and they do so whether we look good or not.  While it can make us unhappy, most of us just laugh it off with friends.  But not everyone can laugh at themselves.  Just ask a Georgia woman who took her displeasure with a photo a little too far.

This past weekend a woman saw her own picture in a mug shot magazine called Bad and Busted.  She was so unhappy with the photo that she called 911 to complain about it.  She stated that she was unhappy with how she looked.  Unfortunately, the police department make-up team was not available during her booking photo, so she was forced to take the picture au natural.  As you can imagine, the 911 operator didn’t consider this call a true emergency (obviously the operator hadn’t seen the photograph, because the one word that comes to mind is ‘emergency’).  Anyway, the woman was charged with unlawful use of 911 and disorderly conduct.

On the bright side of things, it looks like she will get a “do over” as she will need to take an additional booking photo for the new charge.  Read the original story below.
