As crime rates around the country fluctuate up and down, there is one thing for certain, living in a small town has got to be better than living in the big city.  That is of course if your small city didn’t show up on the new “Most Violent Small Cities in America” list put out by Law Street.

The criteria used to compose the nation’s most violent small cities included the following: populations between 100,000 and 200,000 and 4 key crimes, Murder, Rape, Robbery and Aggravated Assault.   This new list of small cities might shock you but then again, that is what this bail bond blog is all about…shock and awe.  So here we go, the most violent small cities, starting with #10.

#10 – Richmond, California

#9 – Beaumont, Texas

#8 – Lansing, Michigan

#7 – Patterson, New Jersey

#6 – Springfield, Massachusetts

#5 – Springfield, Missouri

#4 – Hartford, Connecticut

#3 – New Haven, Connecticut

#2 – Rockford, Illinois
