Here we go again, another felon caught not by the hard work of law enforcement, but instead by the sticky and unassuming web of social media.  Today’s bail bond blog shows once again that people’s desire to be social online out lasts their desire to remain hidden.  It is almost like someone who is playing a game of hide and seek, but can’t keep themselves quiet and from telling everyone they are hiding in the closet.

This past weekend in Idaho, a man who was wanted by the police for violating his probation, decided to post on Facebook that he was heading over to the park for some batting practice. Hey, who can blame him.  It was a beautiful day to be outside and play some ball in the park.  Little did the man realize that by posting his status on Facebook he was letting law enforcement know where he was going to be and when he was going to be there…two things that every fugitive wants to avoid.  As you can imagine, as soon as the man showed up at the park, it was game over.  Police apprehended him quickly.  Read the original story below.
