Once again, social media takes another victim. Today’s bail bond blog post is the next story in the ongoing saga of stupid people doing stupid things on social media.
This past week in Mansfield, Texas, a young woman hit the highs and lows of life in just a few brief moments. After getting a job at a local pizza restaurant, she decided to share her excitement or shall we say disappointment with her closest friends on Twitter. She tweeted out the following.
“Ew, I start this F*** A** job tomorrow.”
What this incredibly sophisticated young woman did not realize (or maybe she did and just didn’t care) was that this little intimate message sent out to her friends on Twitter was also a big loud broadcast to the world since Twitter is a public forum. What that means is EVERYONE can see the tweet….Yes, everyone including the manager/owner of the pizza restaurant. After seeing the true colors of his new employee, the manager decided to respond in like fashion. He also tweeted out a message to the world…a message letting the young woman know that she shouldn’t show up for her new job the following day. It read…
“And … no you don’t start that FA job today! I just fired you! Good luck with your no money, no job life! YOOO…”
What do you think? Was the pizza manager justified in his response? Should the girl hire a lawyer? Read the original story below.
