You are probably wondering what the heck a meatball has to do with a bail bond. On the surface, not a lot, but if you are a housekeeper at the prestigious West Point Military Academy, it is a combination that might ruin the next two years of your life.
A recent story out of West Point, New York uncovered a real mess hall mess for one of the academy’s housekeepers. According to reports, a housekeeper was clocking out for the day when her supervisor noticed that she was holding something suspicious. She eventually pulled out a bag of frozen meatballs. The housekeeper claims that she was merely bringing them outside to throw them in the trash. Unfortunately, her story which sat on top of a bed of lies and was covered in cheese rolled right off the table when somebody sneezed. It rolled off the table and right passed a broom, and now her poor meatballs sit in an evidence room.
All kidding aside, after probably needing the services of a bail bondsman, the hungry housekeeper is now potentially looking at two years in prison and up to a $2,000 fine. How about them meatballs? Read the original story below.
