Things got a little interesting in Louisiana recently when this man tried to eat all of the marijuana he had on him before the cops pulled him over on the interstate.

Cyrus Antoine, 36, was spotted drifting back and forth across the interstate in the wee hours of the morning, when the cop decided it was time to see what the problem was. The officer also saw that there was no license plate on the vehicle, which definitely warranted a stop!

Antoine wasn’t thinking too clearly, though, because when the cop attempted to pull him over, he decided to keep driving. Just wait until you hear why!

The officer was finally able to pull over the vehicle after a bit of a pursuit, where Antoine continued to weave across multiple lanes of traffic. Antoine was arrested immediately.

It was evident right away that there was a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car, as well as on Antoine’s breath, so the police officer also did a search to see what he could find.

After the cop found marijuana and xanax pills scattered throughout the vehicle, Antoine admitted that he had been “trying to eat all of the marijuana” while the cops were chasing him. He said that way, they wouldn’t find any when he eventually pulled over.

Things didn’t work out in Antoine’s favor, though. After being arrested and booked into the jail, he is being charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane usage, driving without a license, driving without a license plate, obstruction of justice and aggravated flight from an officer.

Bet he had a tummy ache after that!
