We all know alcohol can have some interesting effects on your judgment.  Most of all, it can make you do some pretty stupid things.  Today’s bail bond blog is about a woman who had a little too much to drink and ended up behind bars.

This past weekend in Michigan, a woman was out for a drive looking to pick her boyfriend up at a local bar.  The woman approached a structure that she thought looked like a bar and backed her car into the driveway.  Well, the woman was partly correct, the building she had backed her car into did have bars, but did not serve alcohol.  She had accidently mistaken the jail for a bar.  As you can probably imagine,  sheriffs questioned the woman and noticed that she smelled like alcohol.  She was tested and found to have alcohol in her system twice the legal limit in Michigan.  She was arrested and booked on a DUI charge.  We aren’t sure if she needed to call a Michigan bail bondsman to get out and we aren’t sure if anyone ever picked up her boyfriend, but we do know that next time she is looking for her destination she might want to use a GPS device and not just go by sight.  Read the original story below.
