These two crooks sure weren’t cut out for the big time! Cops found 16 pounds of meth in a Walmart parking lot after one of the suspects called the cops on the other. Oh… and he was high on drugs at the time and didn’t even know what state he was in!
More than $700,000 worth of crystal meth was recovered in the car when Jonathan Potzler, 28, called 911. He claimed that the woman in the car with him was a stranger and refused to get out of the vehicle. However, when the cops arrived, it was soon discovered that she was none other than his cousin! Wow!
Once they had the cops in front of them, it didn’t take long for them to confess to the drugs, which first appeared to be foil-wrapped breakfast burritos. Grease, among other things, were also covering the bags in an attempt to throw off drug-sniffing dogs.
The strangers, I mean cousins, were charged with multiple felonies, including unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful distribution, manufacture and dispensing or sale of a controlled substance.
They are currently being held without bond.
