Have you ever been really bad at doing something? You know, one of those things that no matter how hard you try you can never quite get it right. Most of us eventually come to our senses and move on to something else, but others of us become hard headed and continue to bang our head against the proverbial wall. Just ask a New York man who was just released from prison 5 days ago after serving 20 months for bank robbery. Yesterday morning, he apparently couldn’t contain his love of robbing banks. Starting shortly before 10 am he passed a note to a teller at a Bank of America in Manhattan. The note said “I have a gun, give me all your 5s, 10s and 20s.” The scenario didn’t pan out as the man had expected and he ending up fleeing without any loot. However, within minutes of the first bungled burglary, he was at it again at another bank with the same note (at least he is recycling the note). Same result…no loot. Just when you thought this couldn’t go on any further, the man continued to give it the old college try and entered bank #3, with the same note…and ultimately the same result…no loot.
The police finally responded to the area and found a man fitting the description of the bandit scoping out another bank. He was quickly arrested and charged with three counts of attempted robbery. I doubt he will need the services of a bail bondsman anytime soon, but between us, we think he needs a new profession. Read the original story below.
