Have you ever played a texting prank on a friend? Something like anonymously sending them a disturbing cryptic message. If done the right way, and with a friend who has a good sense of humor, these can be pretty funny. However, today’s bail bond blog post is about what happens when you don’t really think through the prank before you do it.
A Wayne County, Pennsylvania man thought that it would be funny to text someone the phrase “The body has been disposed of now what do I do?” Unfortunately for him, the person he decided to text it to was the Radnor Police Chief. As you can imagine the Police Chief didn’t laugh at the text, but rather took it very seriously. The man says that he regrets ever sending the message, including trying to say that the message was intended for the 1980’s action hero character “MacGuyver”. But he is still facing charges of disorderly conduct and filing false reports. Apparently there isn’t a charge of being a complete idiot so for now those charges will have to do.
