What is the most stupid April fools prank you have ever seen? Whatever it is, we think we got it beat. As most of us can probably figure out, pulling of an April fools prank is not rocket science. In fact, most small children can pretty much throw one past you if you aren’t paying attention. But in today’s bail bond blog we found what might go down as probably the stupidest April 1st prank ever. We give it the “stupid” label not because it wasn’t funny…and by the way not all jokes are funny (you definitely understand this if you have read this blog before), but rather because it was pointless.
A Hampton, Virginia Waffle House employee decided to spice up her boring day by reporting a false robbery to the police. When the police arrived, the woman admitted that there really wasn’t a robbery and that she was just pulling a prank. The police were not amused and arrested the Waffle House waitress. We aren’t sure if a bail bond was set, but she is facing a maximum of 12 months in jail and a fine of up to $2500…and that is no joke. Read the original story below.
