Sometimes you read a story in the news that makes you smile and gives you renewed confidence in mankind…and sometimes you read a story that makes you want to just lower your head in disbelief and wonder why.  Unfortunately, we are going to talk about the second type of story.

A few months back, an Old Orchard Beach, Maine man was charged with hiring a prostitute.  While unfortunate as that sounds, it is not the saddest part.  The reason he was caught was because he called police to complain that the woman shorted him 10 minutes on their deal.  We will pause for a second here so you can lower your head and shake it back in forth……….

No one is sure why someone would be so foolish as to unknowingly turn themselves into the police for doing something illegal, but it does make you think.  The details of the article are weak so it is hard to tell if the man is in custody or was released on a bail bond or through pretrial release program.  Whatever the release situation, his court date is set for next week.  Maybe he won’t show up and then call the police to let them know he couldn’t make it because he was busy robbing a bank.  Read the original article below.
