Domestic Violence is never a laughing matter. In fact, it is one of the most common crimes committed across the country. But what happens when a call for help in a domestic violence situation isn’t actually a cry for help but a cry for love. This is the topic of today’s bail bond blog post.
This past week in China, Maine (yes, there is a town called China in Maine), police were called to respond to a domestic dispute. Four officers soon arrived at a neighbor’s house. The neighbor claimed to have heard screams coming from the house next door. When the police knocked on the door of the house in question, they found out that there was no domestic dispute in progress, but rather an amorous evening among some pigs. Yep, the sounds the neighbor thought were human screams of pain, were instead pig screams of pleasure (now that is a phrase I never would have thought I would ever use). The police decided that there was no crime being committed, but did tell the pigs to clean up their act (c’mon, that one was too easy). Read the original story below.
