If you were ever wanted by the cops for a crime, would you turn yourself in or would you run? Most of us would probably turn ourselves in and face the music, but one man decided to run…and he has been on the run for over 20 years.
In Lake Buena Vista, Florida a homeless man was arrested for trespassing. Police found the man trespassing at Walt Disney World’s Coronado Springs resort earlier this week. But instead of talking about his trespassing, he instead started talking about credit card fraud. Apparently the man had been on the run for the past 20 years. He survived by gathering peoples credit card information and then fraudulently charging his way across the country and back.
When asked by the police why spill the beans now, he responded that he was tired of running. Apparently it is pretty exhausting spending other people’s money as you travel around the country. The man is being held on a $2,900 bail bond. He did offer to pay with one of his many credit cards but unfortunately the credit card machine was down (you know we are kidding, right?).
