In today’s world of autocorrect and spellcheck, people are losing the ability to write and spell correctly…at least that will be my excuse if you find any grammatical mistakes or spelling mistakes in today’s bail bond blog post.  That being said, on Sheriff’s Office in Pinellas County, Florida made a slight typo that was too little to notice but potentially too big to not change.

Earlier this week, the Smoking Gun reported on a story out of Florida where a Sheriff’s Office planned to put out some new carpets that had an image of the state of Florida along with the line “In God We Trust.”  When the carpet arrived, they looked beautiful.  Bright green and yellow with some blue mixed in…they really popped and caught one’s eye.  What also caught people’s eye was the unbelievable typo in the carpet.  Instead of the phrase “In God We Trust” the carpet said “In Dog We Trust.”  Now I don’t know about you, but I am not sure I place that much trust in my dog…especially not on a new carpet.  Anyway, before any lightning bolts could shoot from the sky or any dogs catch on and take advantage of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s misguided trust of canines, the carpet typo was fixed.  While we have been assured that those in Pinella’s still trust their pooches, we have also been informed that they put a little more trust in the big dog upstairs.  Read the original story below.
