Is it just us or does it seem like some people will never understand how the internet works…especially social media sites like Facebook.  For some reason, people seem to think that they can say and do whatever they want online, but forget that there are still lines of decency, morality and legality that shouldn’t be crossed.  Now please understand, we aren’t talking about those people who are craving attention by posting a picture of the sandwich they are about to eat or the latest funny cat picture or video. We are talking about people posting things that are not meant for public consumption and most of the time are just flat out illegal.  For example, a few months back we posted a story about a guy who posted a picture of himself syphoning gas out of a sheriff’s cruiser…he was later arrested and charged.  We also posted a story about someone who tweeted they just were involved in a hit and run…they were later arrested and charged.  While those stories have a little humor to them, this next one does not.

In Seattle, Washington a man contacted a local television station and asked them to post a story on their Facebook page (apparently he didn’t have his own Facebook page…since they are so difficult to set up).  Anyway, that is where the jokes will end.  He wanted them to post a story that he had just killed his wife.  Yep, he was confessing on Facebook.  The television station contacted the police and the man was eventually found in Tacoma.  After a chase that reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour, the man was apprehended.  We are not sure if a bail bond has been set.  Read the original story below.
