When you spend every day reviewing crazy arrest stories it is hard not to compare and contrast them.  You ask yourself which story is more ridiculous then the other, and then you post what you think is the best story.   Well today, we thought we would let our Facebook fans help us decide which person was accused of the worst crime.  The two contestants or stories for today are summarized below.  Story #1 – the Rainwater Rebel, and Story #2 – the Welfare Weenie.  Once you review them, post which person you think did the worst thing.

STORY #1
The Rainwater Rebel

Yesterday, an Eagle Point Oregon man was arrested and sentence to 30 days in jail for having three illegal reservoirs on his property.  He was also fined $1,500 for different misdemeanors.  Apparently the state says he was filling his reservoirs with water that belonged to the Medford Water Commission.  The man claims he was merely catching rainwater to help with fire protection.  Read the original story below.

STORY #2
The Welfare Weenie

Whether you are a conservative or a liberal it is hard to support someone who truly takes advantage of the system.  For example, people who have jobs and make decent money receiving food stamps.  Or even people who don’t have a handicap using a handicap parking pass.  As a hard working member of your community it is hard to watch others try and game the system while you follow the rules.  Well, this next story tops the charts when it comes to taking advantage of the system.  A Michigan woman who recently won a $1 million lottery prize still collected welfare payments for food and medical assistance.  It looks like this woman will avoid jail time, but in the end, even though she is a lottery winner, she comes off looking like a loser. Read the original article below.
