Have you ever been at the mall, minding your own business and then out of nowhere you become a victim?  We aren’t talking about becoming a victim of a pick pocket or even a victim of an aggravated assault.  We are talking about something much, much worse.  We are talking about being the victim of a flash dance mob…and we aren’t talking about the water bucket scene from the movie Flashdance …unfortunately.

If you don’t know what a flash mob is, it is when a bunch of people pre-plan a dance routine and do it spontaneously in a public place.  For those not in on the secret, it looks like you are in a movie where everyone knows the words and the steps to the dance.  For some this movie is pretty cool, for others it can be a nightmare.

Now let’s imagine that you aren’t in a public mall, but rather someplace else ….someplace like a county jail…and let’s say that jail is San Bruno County jail in the Northern California.  And what if suddenly at that jail a flash mob broke into a dance routine out of nowhere right in the middle of the cafeteria.  It sounds a little scary, right.  Well the Sheriff in San Bruno is planning exactly that….a Valentine’s Day flash dance mob in the Jail. We hope the guards are in on it, because we can only guess that it could appear like a prison rebellion if they weren’t, and the last thing you want is rubber bullets and teargas flying when grown men are trying to dance.

Whatever your thoughts on the appropriateness or inappropriateness of the dance might be, you have to agree it is always a little nerve-wracking to think of people in jail doing anything in a coordinated mob like fashion…even if it is just a dance….as always…just saying.  Read the original article below.
