In traditional fashion, the world famous Punxsutawney Phil had his annual bail bond review this morning on Gobblers Knob in Pennsylvania.  There were close to  18,000 in attendance as there are every year on this second day of February. Phil has been held on suspicion of fortune telling without a license.  Since 1886 Phil has tried to foretell the future of when winter will end and spring will begin.  Fortunately for us, Phil is never wrong… unfortunately for Phil, he never received the proper licensing to publically make these predictions. So this morning at dawn, in unseasonably warm temperatures of 17 degrees, Phil had his day in court.  The ruling was BAIL BOND DENIED! Phil will serve 6 more weeks under “stump” arrest.  His release is scheduled when winter finally ends.

The ExpertBail team would like wish everyone a happy Groundhog Day and hopes everyone has a warm and healthy winter.
