If you are a parent then you know than you know disciplining your child is one of the hardest things that to do?  That is the topic of today’s bail bond blog post.

The parents of a sixth grader in Houston, Texas ran out of options with their child last week when they resorted to an out of the box punishment.  Their son had recently cussed out his teacher and the parents were at a loss of how to discipline him effectively…especially since nothing had worked so far.  Thanks to a recommendation from the mom’s roommate, the parents decided to give their son a dose of public humiliation.  The boy was placed on a busy intersection holding a sign reading, “I was suspended from school for cussing out my teacher.”

Do you think this is an appropriate punishment?  Do you think parents that take this type of step to discipline their child go too far…or not far enough.  Watch the news story and read the original article below.
