It might only be September, but it is never too early to hear some real life Halloween ghost stories. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, it is hard to deny that someone or something was not happy about the “Ghost Hunters” crew being in South Carolina’s Old City Jail. During the recent filming of one of their shows, a camera woman was attacked several times by an unseen entity. While walking through the jail following two of the shows team members, she felt a burning sensation. This happened several more times throughout the show. When she looked at her skin where the burning sensation occurred, she noticed that she had received scratches on her fingers, forearms, back, stomach and neck.
The scratches confirm the stories that the show had heard about prior to coming to Charleston to feature the jail on their show. Apparently some entity or ghost that occupies the jail does not like woman. There have been numerous reports of people, mostly women, being scratched at the jail. According to the article, the Ghost Hunter team had never seen anything like this before and that the owner of the jail could expect that it would probably continue.
So next time you are in Charleston and have an itch you can’t scratch, visit the Old City Jail and you might get a ghost to help you out. Read the original story below.
