What can she say… she was in a hurry! Jamie Annette Simonsen, 22, was arrested for misusing the 911 system.

Jamie had recently gotten off of her shift at the local waffle shop, where she is a cook, and was in a hurry to leave. However, when she went to take off, there was a police officer conducting a traffic stop right in the way of the waffle shop’s entrance, blocking her in. So what did she decide to do? Call the police, of course!

Simonsen allegedly went up to the officer and asked him to move, even though there was another entrance she could have used that is open to customers. After being told that it would be a few minutes and to please go back inside, she immediately called 911 to complain.

After additional officers showed up to the scene, Simonsen refused to talk to the officers. As they went in to get her, there was a struggle in the waffle shop, close to all of the open faces of sizzling stove tops. Yikes!

Simonsen was eventually arrested and was also charged with resisting an officer without violence. Looks like she may need to look for another job soon.
