Making a fashion statement can always be a risky proposition.  People can be so finicky when it comes to clothes and style.  Just ask a Tiburon, California man who was merely walking down the street in a plaid jacket when out of nowhere a man tried to run him down.  According to authorities, the man driving the car stated that “he didn’t like the plaid jacket the man was wearing.”  We don’t know about you, but trying to run someone over because you don’t like what they are wearing is never right.  If it were, then there would be thousands of people run over every day.  In fact, most women would probably consider running over their significant other for their fashion choices if they could.

Anyway, the man driving the car was obviously not in the proper frame of mind having just left a domestic dispute.  While the deputy on scene did agree the pattern on the jacket was particularly loud, he still placed the man under arrest for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and transported him to the Marin County jail where he is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bail bond.

For those interested, the man in the plaid coat was not harmed as he did manage to jump out of the way in time.  So next time you decide to wear that hideous Hawaiian shirt or even that fluorescent “Relax” shirt that you have had since the 90s, look out, because someone might be revving their engine at the stoplight behind you.  Read the original article below.
