For those of us who are married or have been married, one of the things we remember most is how our significant other proposed.  For the person receiving the proposal it is an exciting and memorable surprise.  For the person giving the proposal, it can be a stressful and complicated process.  And for one bachelor in Los Angeles this past weekend, his proposal actually put him in jail.

The man and his girlfriend were going for a leisurely motorcycle ride with a couple hundred other people on the very busy 10 Freeway in California.  Suddenly all the motorcycles came to a stop on the freeway, stopping and blocking traffic in the process.  Pink smoke began to emanate from the man’s motorcycle in a blinding cloud.  The man stepped off his cycle, got on his knee, and proposed.  The proposal was videotaped and has received a ton of media attention and has instantly become a YouTube sensation.  In fact, that is how law enforcement learned of the traffic stopping marriage proposal…from the media.  The young man was arrested and booked on suspicion of public nuisance and unlawful assembly and suspicion of exhibition of speed.  We aren’t sure if a bail bond was set, but we do know that the proposal was accepted.  Read the original story below.
