A teenager obviously didn’t think things through before robbing a bank in Detroit recently. This 15-year-old boy got himself locked between a set of automatic doors while he was trying to escape. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
After the boy demanded money by giving the teller a note, he also threatened to use a bomb if she didn’t hand over the money right away, which she did.
But she also was quick on her feet and hit a button that automatically locks the doors after the robber tried to escape, which caused him to be trapped inside the set of doors until the police arrived. Who knew these doors existed?
The boy was detained by police and moved to a juvenile facility. It’s still unclear if he actually had a weapon and it is believed he only had a note in his possession, not the bomb he claimed to detonate.
