This man from North Dakota thought he was Jesus and went on a mission to kidnap one of the Obama family’s pets in Washington D.C. after plotting for a week. That’s quite a goal to accomplish… and quite creepy as well!

Scott Stockert, 49, was arrested at a hotel near the Washington Convention Center after Secret Service agents found firearms in his vehicle that were unregistered. He also had hundreds of rounds of ammunition in the vehicle, too. All to kidnap a dog!
He wasn’t going down without a fight, though. He told the Secret Service, “You picked the wrong person to mess with. I will (expletive) your world up.” Those sound like fighting words!

Stockert had planned to take Bo, the older of the two Portuguese water dogs that are fur family members to the President and his family. But when he was questioned by the authorities, he told them that he was in town to advocate for $99-per-month health care, along with announcing that he was going to run for president. Oh… and his parents were John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, too.

Agents found unloaded guns in Stockert’s truck, along with 289 rounds of long-rifle bullets, 71 rounds of shotgun ammunition and two rounds of .223 rifle ammunition. It didn’t stop there, though! They also found a machete with a 12-inch blade and an 18-inch bully club. He came to Washington D.C. prepared! He was also immediately arrested after these discoveries were made.

After his arrest, he then claimed that he was Jesus Christ. He swore that he could verify this on his driver’s license, but he must have forgot that it actually identified him as Scott Stockert… his real name!

Stockert is being charged with illegally carrying a rifle or shotgun outside a home or business. He was released by the judge into a high-intensity supervision program, pending a court date to be set later.

Obviously, while on release, he is being ordered to stay away from the White House, the Capitol and surrounding areas, and is barred from possessing real or fake weapons.
Luckily, Bo is still safe and sound inside the White House as we speak.
